Our Process
There are 3 stages to our authoring process: digitization, preparation and burning.
Digitization
Our digitization process involves capturing the signal from the video source. Listed below are the most popular sources:
- CD-Rom
- Mini DV Tape
- VHS Tape
- Hi8 Tape
- DV Tape
Contact us with any special requirements as we do convert from other sources.
The signal source is captured directly to Mpeg2 format (DVD format). The signal is digitally enhanced, colour
corrected and the source audio levels are adjusted. This is digital remastering and probably the biggest benefit in using
Dynamic DVD to preserve your memories. We use the best in capture equipment in the Matrox RTX100 pro series capture card
and the latest in Pentium technology for the motherboard and processor units.
Preperation
The captured file is then viewed to make sure that it meets our stringent quality control standards and imported into
our DVD authoring software. The content is then split into chapters and a dynamic menu is prepared if one has been
purchased. The esultant files are now ready for the burn process.
Burn Process
Our burn process can burn in both DVD standards namely DVD+R and DVD-R. This makes sure that our product is 100%
compatible with all players unlike DVD recorders which have many incompatibilities.
